The Rhino basketball system includes the very best court accessories available. Any player will tell you that the most important component of a system is the backboard, and our backboards are made of the highest quality cast acrylic instead of the cheaper extruded acrylic, which is readily visible by comparing our crystal clear backboard to the optically wavy appearance of our competitor’s product. Also, all of our backboards are a full ½” thick, as opposed to the typical 3/8” or ¼” available from others. A player will notice the consistent rebound off our Rhino board! Rhino Hoops cast acrylic has a greater impact resistance value than actual glass backboards at less than ½ the weight, which in turn equates to a safer play system. Rhino Hoops is the only system to offer 100% stainless steel hardware. All Rhino hoop basketball systems are treated with a weather resistant polyester powder coating, which has been shown to withstand extended periods of laboratory testing. What does this mean to you? Well, this method of testing assures you that your Rhino system will outlast other systems on the market. Best of all is our unique design, which places additional material at critical load bearing pivot points in the arms. This enables large contact surfaces equating to 5 times that of our closest competitors. This results in fewer pressure points, more stability and a less vibration/rattle basketball system. Our Rhino XL sportslight offers a Forward Throw (FT) reflector system to eliminate stray light, keeping the light on the court and out of the neighbor’s yard. The Rhino XL is a metal halide, which illuminates as a clear “white” light, not the yellow halogen used in most backyards. This greatly reduces glare to the players.
